#EthiopiaNews: PM Abiy Ahmed & Lemma Megersa Speech in Begi Woreda Oromia Region | Ethiopia | Oromo

በቤጊ ወረዳ ከማኅበረሰብ አባላት ጋር በተደረገው ውይይት ወቅት ነዋሪዎቹ የመሠረተ ልማት እጦትን እንደዋነኛ ወቅታዊ ችግር አንሥተዋል:: ጠ/ሚር ዐቢይ አሕመድና ርዕሰ መስተዳድር ለማ መገርሳ ለሰላምና ልማት መረጋገጥ የአንድነትን አስፈላጊነት አሥምረውበታል:: በተለይም ጠ/ሚር ዐቢይ አሕመድ ነዋሪዎቹ ልማት ተኮር ተራማጅነትን እንዲመርጡ አሳስበዋል::ወረዳው ያለበትን የመሠረተ ልማት ችግር በማመን የወረዳውን ነዋሪዎች ተጠቃሚ ስለሚያደርጉ የመስኖ ፕሮጀክቶች አንሥተው፣ ነዋሪዎቹ ችግርን ለመቅረፍ የውይይትን ባሕል እንዲያዳብሩ ጥሪ አቅርበዋል::

In the discussions with community members of Begi Woreda, participants raised the challenges of basic infrastructure that they are currently experiencing. Both Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Lema Megersa stressed the importance of unity to enable peace and development. PM Abiy particularly emphasized the need to look forward and having a growth orientation, instead of being stuck in the past. Acknowledging the infrastructure limitations of the woreda, he shared that irrigation projects to ensure farmers in the area are beneficiaries will begin to address some of the concerns raised. He concluded by calling upon community members to nurture the culture of dialogue in solving problems.
